The KM-OPTOIO-16 is suitable for all wasco® PCI cards with 16 TTL inputs and 16 TTL outputs that are connected to a 68-pin SCSI-II socket, as well as for the WITIO-PCI160EXTENDED, WITIO-PCI64EXTENDED, WITIO- PCI32STANDARD, WITIO-PCIe192STANDARD and WITIO-PCIe192ULTRA. For 16 TTL inputs and 16 TTL outputs, it offers inexpensive galvanic isolation via high-quality optocouplers, which are additionally protected against harmful voltage peaks by protective diodes. All input optocouplers are equipped with an integrated Schmitt trigger function. Two input voltage ranges can be selected thanks to easily exchangeable, plug-in resistor arrays. Special, powerful output optocouplers can handle a switching current of up to 150 mA.Screw terminals enable uncomplicated connection of the peripherals. The housing of the KM-OPTOIO-16 is equipped with foot elements for snapping onto DIN EN clamping rails. The combination of different KM modules for extended requirements is possible via a distributor module.
