The Ethernet module for control technology EXDUL-516S has 10 digital inputs and eight digital outputs with electrical isolation via high-quality optocouplers and additional protective diodes. All input optocouplers are equipped with an integrated Schmitt trigger function. Special, high-performance output optocouplers can handle a switching current of up to 150 mA. One of the 10 optocoupler inputs can also be programmed and used as a counter input if required. The network or PC connection is uncomplicated via an Ethernet interface. An external voltage source is required to supply the necessary operating voltage. The connections for the power supply, like those of the input and output optocouplers, are fed to a 24-pin screw terminal strip.The compact housing allows it to be used as a mobile module on the notebook and as a control module in control and machine construction with simple wall mounting or uncomplicated mounting on DIN EN mounting rails.
