The PCI card for control technology OPTOPRE-PCI8STANDARD offers eight digital inputs and eight digital outputs with electrical isolation, individually for each channel. The electrical isolation of the inputs is provided by eight high-quality optocouplers with Schmitt trigger function, and for the outputs by eight relays. The inputs are also protected against harmful voltage peaks by protective diodes. Two different input voltage ranges can be set using easily exchangeable, pluggable resistor arrays. The relays of the outputs can handle a switching current of max. 2 A. The connections of the optocouplers and the signals of the relays are at the 37-pin D-Sub socket on the slot plate of the board.
