The multifunctional digitals interface card OPTOIO-PCI16STANDARD offers 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs with electrical isolation, individually for each channel. The potential separation is guaranteed by high quality optocouplers at the inputs and outputs. All input optocouplers are equipped with an integrated Schmitt trigger function. Special, powerful output optocouplers can handle a switching current of up to 150 mA. Each input and output is additionally protected against harmful voltage peaks and impulses by protective diodes. Two different input voltage ranges can be set using easily exchangeable, pluggable resistor arrays. The connections of the output optocoupler are fed to the 37-pin D-Sub socket mounted on the slot bracket of the board.The optocoupler inputs are on the 40-pin post connector on the board. A connector routing set, available as an option, allows routing to a 37-pin D-Sub socket with a slot bracket. The pin assignments and the input voltage ranges are identical to the ISA bus card OPTOIO-16STANDARD and the PCI Express bus card OPTOIO-PCIe-16STANDARD.
