The USB output module EXDUL-312S has two digital inputs and 16 digital outputs with electrical isolation via high-quality optocouplers and additional protective diodes. All input optocouplers that create the potential separation are equipped with an integrated Schmitt trigger function. Special, high-performance output optocouplers can handle a switching current of up to 150 mA. The two optocoupler inputs can also be programmed and used as counter inputs if required. The PC connection is simple and uncomplicated, Plug & Play via a USB interface. The module is supplied with the necessary operating voltage via the USB port or an external voltage source.The connections for the external power supply, like the connections for the input and output optocouplers, are fed to a 24-pin screw terminal strip. The compact housing allows it to be used as a mobile module on the notebook or as a control module with simple assembly on DIN EN mounting rails in control and mechanical engineering.
