The OPTORE-PCIe16STANDARD offers 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs with galvanic isolation, individually for each channel. The potential separation of the inputs is provided by 16 high quality optocouplers with Schmitt trigger function, and for the outputs by 16 relays. The inputs are also protected against harmful voltage peaks by protective diodes. Two different input voltage ranges can be set using jumper blocks. The relays of the outputs can handle a maximum switching current of 1 A. The connections of the output relays are fed to the 37-pin D-Sub socket mounted on the slot bracket of the board. The optocoupler inputs are connected to the 40-pin post connector on the board.A plug routing set, available as an option, enables routing to a 37-pin D-Sub socket with a slot bracket. The pin assignments are identical to the PCI bus card OPTORE-PCI16STANDARD and the ISA bus card OPTORE-16, making it easy to switch to PCIe. The card also has a board identification jumper block in order to be able to differentiate between several identical cards in the PC.
